Although a burglar can’t see these security measures and won’t work as a deterrent, should a burglar attempt a break-in at your property it would be incredibly difficult for them to gain entry and it could be the difference between a break-in and an attempted break-in.
Basic Security Measures All Properties Should Have In Place
In order to best protect your property, basic security measures should be in place at your property even if you don’t want the visible deterrents and high security measures.
- External doors should have a 5-leaver BS3621 deadlock installed
- All window locks should be key operated
If you don’t have these basic security measures in place at your property, then it is strongly advised that a locksmith upgrade your door and window locks as soon as possible.
